I was referred to Versa in 2016 after I purchased a tear down home in the Shaughnessy area of Vancouver. I wanted to build a magnificent home that would fit well in this neighbourhood, and Versa did it all, and more. They literally helped me from the earliest stages of making design recommendations in coordination with a great designer, while helping me understand the cost of various features so I could adjust my budget accordingly. From the time of issuing of final building permits, through to demolition, excavation, construction and finishing, my home was completed from scratch in less than 18 months. that achievement is no small feat given the size of this project. Versa uses a very user friendly app in order to keep you up to date on invoicing, bills and permits, while also providing daily photographs showing the progress that was made each day. It literally made the building project an enjoyable experience, which likely cannot be said for many people going through this experience. Felipe and his team were always diligent with their responses to enquiries, and with any inevitable snags along the way in a project of this magnitude, he was proactive and provided suggestions that allowed us to choose a path that best worked for us. The quality of the materials and workmanship was second to none. He didn’t just make it “look” good – he made sure that there will never be any defects in the future. I contracted Versa to do a substantial renovation on my previous Murrayville home. The house had great bones but not much else going for it so we literally took it straight to the studs. We knocked out walls, completely changed the main floor layout, and modernized the extremely outdated decor with detailed millwork and wainscoting throughout the home.
Versa continually exceeded expectations. Trades were clean, professional, and always on time. Through our realtor, we were introduced to Felipe. Due to previous experiences, we are always very wary of hiring contractors that we are unfamiliar with. We were immediately at ease with Felipe.
We had purchased a home that required a “ground up” basement finishing. As the layout was awkward, we really had no idea what could be done with this space. Within minutes of Felipe viewing the space, he had a vision that would give us our dream basement. As I had been involved in arranging renovation projects before, I was worried about dealing with all of the various trades, waiting for them to show up on time (if at all) and leaving a mess behind constantly.
