Every home we build is unique to the owners, and they are all different in terms of cost. A nice, simple custom home can cost anywhere from $350 to $400 per sqft in BC. However, it can also go all the way up to $1000 – $1200 per sqft for luxury custom builds.

Versa does not charge additional contractor fees. we provide our clients with a fixed lump sum price when we have all the plans and interior design completed by our team.

Yes, we are insured. Versa carries a $10 million liability insurance policy.

Yes, you need a Course of Construction (C.O.C.) insurance. Most banks require a C.O.C. for construction loans. The C.O.C. insurance will cover natural causes, vandalism, theft, and damages that are not related to the contractor during non-work hours. Please consult your insurance provider for more details.

Unfortunately, we do not work with anyone that is not on our team. Keeping everything within the Versa team is how we provide great service and produce high-quality projects. We can’t warranty a home with trades that we do not know and that have not been through the Versa Homes Requirement checklist.

No, we do not allow clients to handle materials. Versa Homes will provide all materials for the project, and have them purchased and delivered on time. In the past, when clients handled the materials, it became difficult to manage and track materials and the place of purchase. This also voids warranty, as Versa does not warranty any product purchased by clients.
